Xuehui Huang has been globally ranked among the ‘2023 World’s Top 2% Most-cited Scientists (career-long impact)’ listed in the latest update released by Stanford University. The Stanford ranking is based on the bibliometric information (citation metrics) contained in the Scopus database which includes more than 200,000 scientists. The database provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator.

Nice to have our paper featured on the cover of Nature Genetics! In this work, we present a comprehensive map of rice quantitative trait nucleotides (QTNs) and inferred QTN effects based on eight genome-wide association study cohorts. A genome navigation system, RiceNavi, was developed for QTN pyramiding and breeding route optimization, and implemented in the improvement of a widely cultivated indica variety [link].

Great to have our newly developed toolkit 'OutcrossSeq' published in Molecular Plant [link]. 'OutcrossSeq' is developed for identification of agronomically important genes in outcrossing crops.

Invited by Prof. Jianming Yu, Prof. Xuehui Huang attended the “The Plant and Animal Genome XXVIII Conference (PAG)” during Jan. 10th to Jan. 15th, and gave an oral talk about “Exploring the molecular basis of heterosis for plant breeding”. The PAG conference is held every year in San Diego, which brings together over 3,000 leading genetic scientists and researchers in plant and animal research. Doc. Jie Qiu, and Doc. Wenting Zhang also attended the meeting with Prof. Huang this year.
