The Genomic Data of Juglans
Picture
The common walnut (Juglans regia) and its close relatives are economically and ecologically important trees with global cultivation distributions. Here we provide a chromosome-level genome and related annotations for J. regia (V1.0). In addition, using J. regia as reference, the genomes of other six Juglans species were anchored to the pseudo-chromosomes. We hope the genomic resources could provide clues for the evolution of Juglans genus and may facilitate walnut tree breeding.
