The Genomic Data of Juglans
The common walnut (Juglans regia) and its close relatives are economically and ecologically important trees with global cultivation distributions. Here we provide a chromosome-level genome and related annotations for J. regia (V1.0). In addition, using J. regia as reference, the genomes of other six Juglans species were anchored to the pseudo-chromosomes. We hope the genomic resources could provide clues for the evolution of Juglans genus and may facilitate walnut tree breeding.

The genome of J. regia was compared with the genomes of the six Juglans species for variant identification. The genomic variants (SNPs, INDELs and SVs) can be downloaded from the links below.
